Law firm receives top recognition

A Shropshire law firm has been recognised as one of the UK’s most highly recommended law firms after achieving one of the highest client satisfaction scores in the latest Legal 500 research.

The firm has been ranked second in the West Midlands based on its net promoter score - a measure of how likely clients are to recommend a business to others. The ranking places Lanyon Bowdler alongside some of the country’s largest and most respected legal practices.

The results are based on feedback from almost 8,000 clients across the West Midlands, who were asked how likely they would be to recommend their law firm.

Legal 500 - one of the world’s leading independent legal directories - described a client’s willingness to recommend their law firm as “the strongest endorsement”, with client feedback central to its annual research.

Brian Evans, managing partner at Lanyon Bowdler, said the recognition was particularly meaningful because it reflected the experiences of the firm’s clients.

He said: “We are incredibly proud to have been recognised by Legal 500 as one of the most highly recommended law firms in the West Midlands.

“What makes this achievement especially pleasing is that it is based on feedback from our clients. Their trust and confidence is very important to us, and it is rewarding to know they value the service we provide.

“We have always believed that excellent legal advice goes hand in hand with excellent client care. Whether we are supporting an individual through a significant life event or helping a business overcome a commercial challenge, our aim is always to provide practical advice, clear communication and the highest standards of service.

“To be ranked alongside some of the UK’s best-known law firms is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Lanyon Bowdler and reflects the hard work, professionalism and commitment of colleagues across the firm.

“We hope this recognition gives both existing and prospective clients confidence that they are choosing a law firm with an outstanding reputation - not only within the legal profession, but among the people who matter most, our clients.”

Legal 500 carries out independent research into law firms across more than 100 countries, analysing feedback from hundreds of thousands of clients alongside detailed submissions and interviews with legal professionals.

Commenting on the findings, Amy Ulliott, UK Editor at Legal 500, said: “In a highly competitive legal market, there is no stronger endorsement than a client’s willingness to recommend their law firm.

“Client feedback sits at the heart of  Legal 500’s research, and this analysis provides a unique insight into the firms earning the highest levels of trust and advocacy from the people they serve.

“Beyond the rankings, this data helps firms better understand market perception, benchmark performance and identify opportunities for growth.”
