Law firm Aaron & Partners is hosting a number of free events for employers this summer, covering the latest in employment law updates.
They include an event at The Wroxeter Hotel, near Shrewsbury, on July 5.
The update will inform delegates of changes made in the last 12 months, and will also focus on what’s coming up in the next 12 months.
Topics will include gender pay gap reporting, apprenticeship levy, national minimum wage/national living wage, gig economy and employment status, discrimination update, and legislation and case law.
There will also be an opportunity for delegates to ask questions that may arise on any of the topics discussed. Refreshments will be provided.
The event begins with registration at 9am, with the seminars and Q&A sessions between 9.30am and 12.30pm. This will then be followed by an hour for lunch and networking.
Employment law associate Ben Mason, from the Shrewsbury office, will be among those giving presentations.
Ben advises regularly on disciplinary and grievance procedures, restructuring and redundancy procedures, changes to terms and conditions, settlement agreements and senior-level exits. He also has experience in conducting internal hearings for clients.
Aaron & Partners is also holding two other similar events outside Shropshire - June 27 at The DoubleTree, Chester, and June 28 at The Quay Hotel, Deganwy
