New face at comms outfit

A Shropshire public relations company has welcomed its second new member of the team this year.

Sarah Hughes (pictured) joins Much Wenlock-based Nathan Rous PR from Lime Marketing bringing particular experience within the health and social care sectors.

Her appointment comes on the back of contract wins for the company in 2017, including global bikeshare provider nextbike, all-girls boarding school Westonbirt and teddy bear manufacturer Merrythought.

Sarah’s appointment marks the second job created since the business moved into its new office earlier this year. Lily Rutherford joined from Radar Communications in March.

"While many of our clients are based in London we believe Shropshire is a great place to work from. Creative talent is in abundance,” said director Nathan Rous.

Nathan Rous PR specialises in public relations, video, social media and brand direction, having worked on a series of ambitious projects across a whole spectrum of industries, including fashion, interiors, travel and motoring.

The firm has worked with the likes of Harrods, clothing guru Charles Tyrwhitt, Land Rover and some of the country’s top private schools.

Other clients include BOTB, Wrekin College, Love Taste, Besblock, London Glassblowing, Johnny Tuxedo and AeroDesk.
