Shropshire-based rural surveying and land agency firm Howie Kent & Co is celebrating its 10th anniversary marking a decade of growth, innovation and trusted advice for landowners, farmers and rural businesses across the UK.
Founded in 2016 by Duncan and Sarah Howie, the business has grown from a two-person venture into a respected consultancy providing specialist advice across renewable energy, site sourcing, planning, land promotion, commercial lettings and rural professional services.
Over the last decade, Howie Kent & Co has played a key role in helping energy companies, farmers and landowners navigate significant change within the rural sector, from the rapid growth of renewable energy projects and evolving planning policy through to diversification opportunities and long-term, sustainable strategies.
Director Sarah Howie said: "Ten years ago, Duncan and I started Howie Kent & Co with a simple ambition: to provide honest, practical advice and build a business people enjoyed working with. Beyond what we imagined was just how many incredible people we'd meet along the way.

As the business has grown, so too has the team behind it. It has developed into a close-knit group of surveyors and rural professionals, each bringing their own specialisms while sharing the same commitment to clients.
The anniversary also reflects the company's dedication to investing in the next generation of rural professionals, with the team continuing to grow in both experience and expertise to meet increasing demand across renewables, planning and land agency.
