A new private health and wellbeing clinic has officially opened its doors in Shropshire.
Shropshire Health Clinic, based at Malt House Barn in Leaton, was launched by Shrewsbury mayor Alex Wagner. It offers a mix of private GP services, health screenings, holistic therapies and wellbeing classes and is the first facility of its kind in the region.
The clinic is fully-registered with the Care Quality Commission, ensuring high standards of care.
Founder and GP lead Dr Serena Jones said: “We wanted to create a safe, welcoming space where people can access healthcare quickly, while also exploring ways to improve their overall wellbeing. This is just the beginning – our aim is to grow into a trusted community hub.”
Services include private GP appointments, Well Man and Well Woman checks, menopause care, sports testing, acupuncture, yoga and nutrition support. The site also features full accessibility and on-site parking.
Looking ahead, Shropshire Health plans to expand services and grow its new foundation, which will provide free classes and health checks for the community.
The launch was supported by local businesses, with canapés from Rodriguez Events and photography by Hall of Fame Photography.
