HCR Law’s Shrewsbury office sponsored a successful charity wine tasting that brought together members of the local business community at Tanners Wines.
Hosted by the Shrewsbury Drapers Company, the event, ‘A Spin on Wool’, celebrated the company’s long-standing links to the wool trade. Guests enjoyed a curated tasting of wines from wool-producing regions around the world, alongside an evening of heritage and networking.
The event raised £1,500 with all proceeds from ticket sales supporting the charitable work of Shrewsbury Drapers Holy Cross Limited.
As event sponsor, HCR Law backed the evening as part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and support for local organisations across Shropshire and the wider region. The firm’s Shrewsbury team was pleased to help raise funds while strengthening connections with local businesses and professionals.
HCR Law opened its Shrewsbury office in January this year, taking the firm’s total number of offices across England and Wales to 13 and strengthening its border presence. The firm actively seeks opportunities to support local initiatives, charities and events that celebrate the town’s heritage and contribute positively to the community.
One of Shrewsbury’s historic livery companies, the Shrewsbury Drapers Company continues to host events that combine tradition, education and fundraising, supporting its charitable objectives through community focused initiatives.
