Telford MP Shaun Davies visited Kraft Heinz - home to iconic brands like Heinz, Lea & Perrins, HP Sauce, and more - in Hortonwood.
The visit was to recognise the organisation's major contribution to Telford’s manufacturing division, its long-term investment in the local economy, and its commitment to creating opportunities for young people.
During the visit, Shaun met with team members to learn more about Kraft Heinz’s ongoing work in the area and the important role the business plays in supporting local employment and economic growth. He also spoke with a number of apprentices, three of whom have completed an engineering apprenticeship as part of their careers at Kraft Heinz.
Shaun said: “Kraft Heinz is a fantastic example of the world class manufacturing businesses we have here in Telford, continuing to put our town on the map. Their long-term commitment to our town not only supports high-skilled jobs and investment, but also helps create valuable opportunities for young people looking to build their careers locally. It was great to visit the site and hear more about their ambitions for the future.”
