Support for female entrepreneurs

A Shropshire business coach is launching a new type of group aimed at guiding women in running their own business ventures.

Sarah Clein of Wildflower Fire Coaching said the Oswestry Business Women’s Wisdom Circle would offer a focused group where women could tackle common business challenges, learn from each other and come away with a plan of action.

Sarah, of Llanyblodwel, is a qualified and International Coaching Federation accredited coach as well as being a trained counsellor. She set up her own business in 2014 after a 25-year career in the public sector. She now works with other women to help them move on in their personal lives and careers.

She said that she saw a need after lockdown to bring business women together face to face for business coaching.

“I understand the juggle that many women are involved in with their home, family, work and caring responsibilities. This is often a real barrier to pursuing their business dreams.

“I don’t think women appreciate how much wisdom they have built up by coping with that juggling act through their lives. This new group is a way of tapping into that wisdom through group coaching and group activities."

Each session, led by Sarah, will result in an individual action plan for each member of the group to work through between meetings.

“It will be a group where business women can be guided to help themselves to share their business experiences. But it isn’t just talking – the sessions will be action focused with specific aims set from each session to help each member make their business more successful,” she said.
