Team laces up for Shrewsbury run

A team from Wace Morgan Solicitors is preparing to take on this year’s Shrewsbury 10K to raise money to support Hope House Children’s Hospices.

The popular town race returns on Sunday July 5, starting and finishing in Quarry Park and taking runners on a scenic route through Shrewsbury.

Colleagues from across the firm have signed up as part of ‘Team WM’, using the challenge to support local children with life-threatening conditions and their families to live their best life.

Ben Hartshorne, business support administrator at Shropshire-based Wace Morgan, said: “We’re really looking forward to taking part in the Shrewsbury 10K,  which we are also headline sponsoring for the fourth year running.

“It’s a fantastic event that brings the whole community together, and it’s even more meaningful for us knowing we’re raising money for Hope House. The care they provide to local families is incredible, so being able to support that while pushing ourselves as a team makes it all worthwhile.”

Hope House fundraiser Harriet Richards said: “It’s brilliant to see Team WM taking on the Shrewsbury 10K in support of Hope House. Events like this make a huge difference, helping us continue to provide specialist care to children and families who rely on our services. We’re so grateful for their support and wish them the very best of luck on race day.

“We also have a limited number of places so that you can run in Hope House colours too. All we ask is that you commit to raising at least £150 in sponsorship.”

The Shrewsbury 10K is known as one of the region’s most popular races, attracting runners of all abilities and encouraging people to take on a personal challenge while supporting good causes.
