Oswestry BID manager Adele Nightingale welcomed the chief executive of Shropshire Council Tanya Miles for a walk around Oswestry to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses.
The visit provided an opportunity to highlight business priorities and explore the importance of closer partnership working to support the town’s economic growth.
Adele said: “Collaborative working is vital to the economic growth of our town. Strengthening our relationship with Shropshire Council helps improve communication and ensures Oswestry businesses have a voice through the BID, both in strategic decisions and in addressing day-to-day challenges.”
Oswestry BID continues to represent its levy-paying businesses, working with partners to raise concerns, identify opportunities and help shape a positive future for the town.
