Halo steals the show for Shrewsbury firm

Revolutionary lamp head Halo was hailed as a star performer by Morris Site Machinery at this year’s Showman’s Show.

The Shrewsbury-based manufacturer and global supplier used its premiere-themed stand to showcase its products to a positive reception by the events industry.

The first public demonstrations of Halo, a powerful, anti-glare next generation lamp head, were particular highlights, the firm said. The robust equipment, which fits on the company’s celebrated SMC TL90 lighting towers, delivers 360 degrees 1200W diffused light from four 300W LED quadrants.

It has been developed to provide an even, impressive spread of light with an anti-glare diffuser which can operate in extreme conditions.

The show also saw the launch of the company’s new compact but powerful TL60 Trolley Light, which can be handled by a single operator, for indoor or outdoor use. With power generation products from SMC, Inmesol and Denyo on display too, the stand drew plenty of visitors.

Richard Denholm, sales director at Morris Site Machinery, said: “We mounted a strong display of our equipment which generated keen and positive interest. Seeing Halo in action for the first time certainly impressed people and showed why we are so excited about the impact it will have.

“We had a number of strong inquiries from event hire companies and hirers from sports events which we are confident will lead to sales. The Showman’s Show is an opportunity to promote our innovation and quality to existing and potential customers; we are delighted it went so well.”
