Shrewsbury firm Halls - the auctioneer, property, land and livestock business - has announced the appointment of two new shareholders Anne Marie Brettell and Jonny Dymond.
Anne Marie joined Halls Rural Professional team in 2018, and works with farmers on BPS and Countryside Stewardship applications, rural land and property sales and valuations for a range of purposes.
She said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been invited to become a shareholder and look forward to helping the business grow further and progressing my career within the business.”
Jonny Dymond, Halls market manager and senior auctioneer at Shrewsbury Auction Centre, is a well-known face among local farmers and a mainstay of the livestock market in Battlefield. He said: “My roots are firmly set in Shropshire now and I look forward to driving the auction forward building on the success experienced since joining Halls in June 2017. “
Managing director David Giles said: “We are delighted that Anne Marie and Jonny have joined our Board of Shareholders. Both have worked very hard to move the business forward and have a fantastic relationship with our customers. Their advice and expertise will be a great asset to the business as we celebrate our 175th anniversary in 2020 and beyond.”
