Internet marketing firm celebrates a milestone

An award-winning Shropshire internet marketing company, which has established itself as one of the leading agencies in Europe, is marking 15 years in business this year.

Ascendancy Internet Marketing, based in Shifnal, has become a major player in the industry since its launch in 2004 by helping firms of all sizes strengthen their business through digital marketing and improved web design.

The company specialises in providing, updating and improving websites, helping businesses become more efficient and profitable.

In 2018, Ascendancy was one of 25 companies from across Europe to be shortlisted in the Growing Business Online category at the Premier Partner Awards presented by Google Partners.

Helen Culshaw, Ascendancy director, said: “It seems incredible to think we have been in business for 15 years - it’s an impressive milestone we are proud of. But what we are even more proud of is the number of businesses we have been able to help along the way.

“Ascendancy thrives on helping all kinds of businesses in all shapes and sizes to achieve their potential and optimum efficiency. The digital world has changed beyond all recognition over the last 15 years and has developed from something once thought of as a supporting role in aiding business to playing the lead in keeping companies ahead of the field.

“We are delighted to have been able to play such a major part in keeping companies up to date with the technological upgrades needed to keep them competitive and successful in an ever-increasing workplace.

“Your website says a lot about your company these days and often creates that all-important first impression. There is an old saying that your face is your fortune and the face of your company these days is your website - it certainly can help to make or break a business.”

Ascendancy has been working with businesses to improve their image and marketing techniques over its 15 years in business and Helen says it is still so important for websites to provide the precise image a company wants to project.

“I think this is more vital to businesses now than ever before and there is no doubt many more companies are coming around to this view and seeking help in getting it right,” she added.

“Ascendancy continues to be the go-to company in the industry and we have a proven track record over 15 years in business. This has been helped by our close links with Google and the recent Google partner nomination ranking us as one of the top agencies in Europe.

“We are delighted to be marking our first 15 years in business and are looking forward to carrying on the good work of helping companies meet the challenges of whatever awaits in the future.”
